Breakfast Club Registration

We are pleased to announce that the Hope Church Breakfast Club will restart on Thursday 24th and Friday 25th August 2017 in Hope Hub. This service will be available on Thursday and Friday mornings, during term time, for children attending; Blackwood, St John’s and Bent Primary schools.

Breakfast will be served between 7.45am and 8.30am. A range of activities will be available, until the children are escorted by Walking Bus to their school/school bus . The cost is £2.00 per child per day.

Registration must be completed prior to children attending breakfast club. Registration documents can be downloaded by clicking the link below.

Annual Bowling Competition

The annual Hope Church bowling competition at the Blackwood Victoria Bowling Club was another great success. Thanks to everyone at the club for making us feel so welcome and to Robin for taking the photos.

May In-Service Day Registration

Our next In-service Day Club run by Hope Church Blackwood & Kirkmuirhill will take place at Hope Hub on Thursday 4th May 2017 from 9:00am to 3:00pm (Lunch will be provided).

All primary school children are welcome.  There will be the usual mix of crafts, games, quizzes and Bible stories.

This will be cost free, however registration must be completed prior to children attending the in-service day club and will be limited to the first 50 children to register. Registration forms can be downloaded by clicking the link below.

February In-Service Day Registration

Our second In-service Day Club run by Hope Church Blackwood & Kirkmuirhill will take place at Hope Hub on Wednesday 15th February 2017 from 9:00am to 3:00pm (Lunch will be provided).

All primary school children are welcome.  There will be the usual mix of crafts, games, quizzes and Bible stories.

Registration must be completed prior to children attending the in-service day club and will be limited to the first 70 children to register. Registration forms can be downloaded by clicking the link below.

Breakfast Club Update

breakfast2The Hope Church Breakfast Club has been recently awarded £250 from the Police Mutual Force for Good Fund to support the well being of the children and wider activities of the Club.  Pictured with the children is the Administrator Linsey Crooks receiving the cheque from Police Mutual member Crawford Whiteford.

In-Service Day Fun

Fifty local children enjoyed a day of fun at the inaugural Hope Church In-Service Day club on Monday 21st November. The wonderful surroundings of Hope Hub provided the venue for a fabulous day of games, craft, bible stories, quizzes and challenges.

A team of twenty volunteers welcomed the children from 9am and guided them through a high paced range of activities. Snacks and lunch were all provided as the children learned from bible characters Samson and Gideon on a theme based on emotions cemented through the recent children’s favourite film ‘Inside Out’

A Hope Church spokesperson commented “what a privilege it’s been to have this day with these wonderful children. We’ve had the most fantastic day and due to the uptake, plan to run the club again in February and MayFifty local children enjoyed a day of fun at the inaugural Hope Church In-Service Day club on Monday 21st November.
